AP: New Cabinet takes charge, Vivekananda enters

Hyderabad, Dec 1: The new Andhra Pradesh Cabinet under Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has took the charge on Wednesday, Dec 1 at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.

As expected, resigned leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy's uncle, YS Vivekananda has entered the new Cabinet. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has selected 39 ministers including 10 new faces for the new Cabinet.

Kiran Kumar Reddy has dropped MLAs, who are loyal to YS Jagan. Jagan had resigned from Congress and the Kadapa MP post on Monday, Nov 29.

K Jana Reddy, D L Ravindra Reddy, Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy, TG Venkatesh and P Shankar Rao were selected to the Cabinet. Meanwhile, Jagan loyalists Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose were dropped. The deputy CM post has not yet announced.
