London, Nov 28: The stage is set for the classic battle. World number one tennis player Rafael Nadal will meet the number two Roger Federer in the final of ATP World Tour Finals on Sunday, Nov 28.
Nadal defeated Andy Murray 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 7-6 (8-6) in the semi-final match to sail to finals of ATP World Tour for the first time. It was one of the most memorable match in 2010 which lasted for three hours and 11 minutes.
Earlier, Federer thrashed Novak Djokovic in one hour and 20 minutes and entered the finals for the sixth time aiming to win the fourth title. Federer was the champion during 2003, '04, '06 and '07.
After 1986, this is the first time the top 2 players on the ATP World Tour have reached the season finale title match. This match is the 22nd time Nadal and Federer fighting each other, where Nadal leads with 14-7.
