Ratan Tata
New Delhi, Nov 27: Following the controversial Public Relation (PR) firm owner Nira Radia's leaked tape, Tata group's chief Ratan Tata on Nov 26 claimed that his company has never used Radia or his company has never subverted any policy through Radia.

"Never once have we done something to exploit a policy issue, never once we used her (Radia) to make payments or to seek favors," stated Ratan Tata while speaking to NDTV.

Talking about Radia's alleged conversation in phone (as it has been leaked in the tape submitted in the court) with several politicians, industrialists and journalists, Ratan Tata said, "There has been a smokescreen behind what is really the so-called scam."

Tata, who is also a client of Nira Radia, also added, "The scam (2G spectrum), which really is out-of-turn allocation of spectrum, hoarding of spectrum by important players for free, and things of this nature."

Radia has been recently questioned by the Supreme Court in her alleged role in the 2G spectrum scam.
