Once again Yeddyurappa's fate and the blessing of all god and angel seemed to be with the Karnataka CM as senior leader of BJP stated, "Karnataka CM BSY clarified his stand on the land scam in the state. So he will stay as the CM of Karnataka."
On the other side, one of the strong alliamces of BJP, JD(U) president Sharad Yadav on Nov 24 expressed shock at BJP's decision as he said, "I felt bad over the news that BJP decided to keep BSY as the CM of Karnataka. But JD(U) wants BSY to go."
He also added, "Same rule should be applied to BSY and Ashok Chavan."
However, in Bihar, JDU-BJP alliance on Nov 24 already started celebration over their expected victory in the state.
The demand over Yeddyurappa's resignation was raised after his alleged role in the multi-crore land scam in Karnataka.
