6-18yr Brit Muslim pupils being taught Sharia law lessons to chop off thieves' hands

London, Nov 22 (ANI): British Muslim pupils, as young as six, are being taught how to chop off thieves' hands or feet as a dreaded punishment under the Sharia law, according to a BBC Panorama investigation.

"For thieves their hands will be cut off for a first offence, and their foot for a subsequent offence. The specified punishment of the thief is cutting off his right hand at the wrist. Then it is cauterised to prevent him from bleeding to death," it says.

According to the Daily Mail, the 'weekend schools' also teach these Muslim kids that the penalty for gay sex is execution, and that 'Zionists' are plotting to take over the world for the Jews.

Up to 5 000 children aged between six and 18 years are also being taught that those who do not believe in Islam would be subjected to "hellfire" after death.

The investigation has also found that over 40 weekend schools are teaching the Saudi Arabian national curriculum, which are run under the shadow of 'Saudi Students Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland'. They are not state-funded, and do not use Government buildings, and therefore are not inspected by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted).

It further alleged that one of the schools in Ealing, West London, is owned by the Saudi government.

Meanwhile, experts at the Policy Exchange think-tank have warned that similar extremists could seek to exploit the Government's policy of giving greater freedom from state control to free schools and academies, the paper said.

They also urged the Government to establish a unit to check whether those applying to open the schools have an extremist background.

Education Secretary Michael Gove, who is believed to be supportive of the idea, said that he would not tolerate "anti-Semitism" in English schools.

"I have no desire or wish to intervene in the decisions that the Saudi government makes in its own education system. But I'm clear that we cannot have anti-Semitic material of any kind being used in English schools," he added. (ANI)
