Sharp to launch glass-free 3D mobiles in India
Sharp plans to launch the glass-free 3D mobiles Sharp Galapagos 003SH and Sharp Galapagos 005SH, which were surfaced in Japan in Nov 2010. The 3D mobiles will be entered to India in new names.
The new 3D smartphones, which runs on Anroid Froyo, boast the same technology that Sharp developed for the screen in Nintendo's upcoming 3DS console. Users can enjoy the 3D experience without wearing special glasses.
Earlier on Nov 12, Sharp launched four mobiles, Alice, Blink, Tango and Cyborg in India. These mobiles provide dual SIM capacity, LCD touchscreen, FM radio, Bluetooth, G-Sensor, social networking site shortcuts and LED illumination.
Sharp glass-free 3D mobiles are expected to hit Indian market by early 2011. Price of these phones are not yet available. Stay tuned for more updates.
