Vijay wins bronze in shooting; India on +Ve note

Guangzhou, Nov 18: Shooter Vijay Kumar's bronze medal win in men's 25m centre fire pistol event added another bronze to India's medal tally in Asian Games 2010 on Thursday, Nov 18.

Vijay Kumar scored a total of 583 points to settle for the bronze, while South Korea's Byung Taek Park scored 586 to grab the gold and China's Yadong Liu made 585 to win silver.

Other Indian shooters, Omkar Singh and Harpreet Singh finished 8th and 32nd respectively in the same event.

Earlier on the day, Indian men's rowing team won two silver medals in four team and lightweight four team events.
