RSS-Sonia row: Parliament adjourned till Nov 15

Parliament of India
New Delhi, Nov 11: As Congress MPs protested strongly against the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader's "objectionable remarks" against Sonai Gandhi, the Parliament on Nov 11 has been adjourned till Nov 15.

RSS leader Sudarshan's remarks made on Mrs Gandhi have not been displayed in the media as they were reportedly defamatory.

However, a national Hindi daily on Nov 11 published the statement, which created an uproar in the Congress as Parliamentary Affairs Minister PK Bansal claimed, "only an insane (person) can talk like that."

"He has used the words not even a mad will use. They (BJP MPs) should have apologised," stated Bansal.
