Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bans Qaeda leader Al-Zawahiri book
Peshawar, Nov 11(ANI): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has banned publication and sale of a book written by Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri in the province.
According to the Daily Times, the book is titled 'Spaida-e-Sehr Aur Timtamata Chiragh'.
"Copies of the book would not be allowed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," a statement from the provincial government read.
"The book has the potential to provoke the religious feelings of the public," it added.
Al-Zawahiri had earlier published another book titled 'Knights Under the Prophet's Banner'.
The 59-year-old is often described as a 'lieutenant' to Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
He also appeared on the initial list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's 22 Most Wanted Terrorists, which was released by former US President George W. Bush in 2001. (ANI)
