YouTube removes videos posted by terrorists

San Francisco, Nov 5: Google's video sharing website, YouTube has started removing videos posted by persons who have terrorist links.

YouTube, video-sharing website on which users can upload and share videos, said in a statement that the it had removed hundreds of videos posted by radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who has been linked to numerous attempted terror attacks in the United States and Britain.

"We're now looking into the new videos that have been raised with us and will remove all those which break our rules. These are difficult issues, and material that is brought to our attention is reviewed carefully," YouTube said in the statement.

YouTube will also remove videos uploaded by by a member of a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).
