Google Instant available on iPhone, Android mobile
California based Google reported in a blog post that the company had rolled out the Google Instant on mobile.
"With Google Instant on mobile, we're pushing the limits of mobile browsers and wireless networks. You will probably notice a big improvement in speed when you search thanks to a new AJAX and HTML5 implementation for mobile that dynamically updates the page with new results and eliminates the need to load a new page for each query," Google software engineer Steve Kanefsky said.
For activating Google Instant on mobile devices, users have to tap the 'turn on' link on Google's site on mobile phone. users can disable it by clicking the 'turn off' button.
Users with phones running Android 2.2 and iPhones and iPods running iOS 4 can activate Google Instant.
Google launched the Instant in Sep, 2010. Instant displays results as users type, rather than waiting for the user to hit the search button.
