London, Nov 05 (ANI): A survey has found that Britons have less patience than others while standing in a queue, and that it takes them just 10 minutes of waiting to lose their cool.

The research, which found that two-thirds of people get frustrated by people time-wasting and "faffing" in front of them, suggested that instant transactions available on the internet have made people more impatient, the Daily Mail reported.

Londoners are prepared to wait longer in a queue than anyone else, at an average of 12 minutes, 12 seconds before getting restless, 31 percent longer than the least patient region, Yorkshire and Humberside.

The survey also found one in five has done shopping at night to avoid the hordes, while 18 percent have changed what they buy or where they shop.

It also showed that eight in ten shop, bank or pay bills electronically to avoid having to queue. (ANI)
