Yeddyurappa was accompanied by party general secretary and senior leader Ananth Kumar and Karnataka BJP president Eswarappa. It is believed that Yeddyurappa had discussed the issues of Cabinet expansion with Gadkari.
Gadkari told reporters that, "they had come to extend Diwali greetings."
Earlier, Yeddyurappa was forced to drop his cabinet expansion plans, which was scheduled for Wednesday, Nov 3, following protests from few party men. On Tuesday, Eswarappa announced that that the Cabinet expansion will not take place Wednesday.
Later, Yeddyurappa told reporters that he was sure about the cabinet expansion will set a new date for the expansion.
