Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 4: To make the government more transparent and corruption free, Kerala government planned to expand its e-Governance in all departments and state-run agencies.

"The role of IT and e-governance in the administration affairs has increased many folds. To yield a better result, it will be implemented in all departments in a time bound," stated Kerala Minister for Law, M Vijayakumar on Thursday, Nov 4.

Inaugurating the e-Governance Award ceremony 2010 organised by the state, Vijayakumar also stated that Kerala has failed to cope up with the pace of other states in various aspects of information technology.

However, the minister also pointed out that the state was growing fast and the achievements of various departments in e-governance was a sign for that.
