Mumbai, Nov 2: India's new tennis sensation, Rohan Bopanna has achieved his career highest doubles ranking in Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
According to the new Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, which was released on Monday, Nov 1, Rohan Bopanna gained 14th position.
Bopanna's Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi also reached his career high ranking by bagging 17th rank in new ATP rankings. Bopanna-Qureshi team scored sixth rank in team rankings.
Indian tennis legend Leander Pace remained in fifth position in doubles but his partner in Commonwealth Games, Mahesh Bhupathi went down to 15th position.
In men's singles ranking, CWG winner Somdev Devvarman slipped two position to settle on 96th rank. In women's singles ranking Sania Mirza scored 165th rank.
