Nitish Kumar's govt failed to develop Bihar: Sonia
"Nothing has been done in the fields of electricity, drinking water, health and education during the past five years," the UPA chairperson said at an election rally in Bhagalpur.
"The Centre has provided resources and means for these sectors... but unfortunately the state government has failed to properly utilise them for the benefits of common people," added Sonia Gandhi, who is in the state campaigning for Congress candidates in the ongoing Bihar Assembly polls.
Besides this, she also took a swipe at the JD(U) leader and his party, which has formed an alliance with BJP, for tying up with "communal forces".
"Nitish Kumar is involved in politics of opportunism by joining hands with communal forces," she said.
