Omar Abdullah
Srinagar, Oct 26: After BJP criticised three interlocutors appointed for Jammu Kashmir, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah backed the interlocutors and accepted Pakistan's role in discussion on Kashmir.

"Rightly or wrongly, is it not making Pakistan a party. Pakistan has a role in Jammu & Kashmir. How can you ignore it?" questioned Omar on Oct 25.

Reminding BJP leader, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Pakistan visit as the prime minister, Omar stated, "What is new in this? When Vajpayee visited Pakistan, didn't he discuss Kashmir?"

Following Dilip Padgaonkar's statement, in which he accepted Pakistan's role in discussion on Kashmir, BJP criticised him and stated that the interlocutors derived Hurriyat-stand.
