JK interlocutors took Hurriyat stand: BJP

Three interlocutors of JK
New Delhi, Oct 25: Controversies raised around the three interlocutors appointed for Jammu Kashmir as BJP compared them with the separatists party Hurriyat after Dilip Padgaonkar's remark related to Pakistan.

"It gives us a feeling that the panel already taking a Hurriyat stand. Is it a part of the brief that is given to the interlocutors?" questioned BJP leader, Nirmala Seetaraman on Oct 24.

After their visit to the valley for the first time on Oct 23, Padgaonkar, the head of the interlocutors said, "There is a Pakistan dimension to this (Kashmir) issue since 1947."

"Any attempt to have a comprehensive solution without Pakistan's involvement is not possible. Pakistan has to be involved,"he added.

BJP reacted over his remark and demanded to the Prime Minister's office, "The PMO should immediately clarify to the BJP and the nation."
