He has agreed to publish his memoir in the English-language, Spanish, and for the first time in German.
The memoir would cover the topics on Rushdie's marriage, his experience as an 'outsider' at a leading public school in England and his years of 'internal exile'.
Rushdie was born in Mumbai in 1947, the son of a Cambridge-educated lawyer. He went to Rugby School in England and studied history at Cambridge University and now spend most of his life in London and New York.
