Ministers of Agriculture, animal husbandry and food and civil supply from eleven states are expected to attend the conference.
During this two day agriculture ministers' conference, the minister will discuss about fertilizers, rabi crop, electricity, improving the quality and quantity of agriculture and seeds.
Issues related to farmers welfare schemes and improvement in public distribution system will also be discussed.

Due to good monsoon the production of Bajra is expected to nearly 45 million tones and the market price of Bajra this year is Rs 700 to 750 per quintal, while the minimum support price is Rs 880 per quintal.
Ministers from Bihar, Chhattisgarh,Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh are expected to attend the conference.
