New Delhi, Oct.17 (ANI): Hundreds of Ali Sena activists, a Muslim forum, staged a mass demonstration on Sunday, protesting against the recent decision by of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on mosque-temple land title suit.

The activists holding posters and flags shouted anti-government slogans and expressed their anger against the High Court verdict.

The President of Ali Sena, M. A. Chand, said that the decision has been pronounced on the basis of faith and not on the basis of proof and the 300,000,000 Muslims disagree with the decision of the Lucknow court.

"Muslims are not given justice. Three judges ignore the voice of Muslims in a closed room, the proof produced by the Muslims was destroyed, and rights of Muslims are destroyed. The decision is been taken on the basis of faith, which has never happened in the history of India," said Chand.

"Rules and regulations of law are being broken and the decision is given on the basis of faith.," he added.

A three-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court ruled on September 30 that the Ramlala idol would remain on the disputed land in Ayodhya, deeming it Lord Ram's birthplace.

The court divided the 2.77 acre disputed site among the three parties, The Sunni Waqf Board; The Nirmohi Akhara and The party representing 'Ram Lala Virajman'. The 8000 page verdict came after nearly 60 years of litigation on the title dispute.

The Sunni Waqf Board has, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the judgement and decided to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Ayodhya verdict. (ANI)
