Google generates $7.29 billion revenue in Q3 2010

San Francisco, Oct 15: Search engine giant, Google announced its third fiscal year (Jul-Sep 2010) result on Oct 14 and it reported that the revenue of the company was $7.29 billion, an increase of 23 percent compared to the Quarter 3, 2009.

Announcing the result, Google CEO, Eric Schmidt stated, "Google had an excellent quarter."

His also included, "Our core business grew very well, and our newer businesses, particularly display and mobile continued to show significant momentum."

Google-owned sites and Google"s partner sites generated revenues of $4.83 billion and $2.20 billion respectively, which was an increase of 22 percent each compared to the third quarter revenue in 2009.

However, the Google generated a high revenues of $3.77 billion from outside of the United States totaled and this was an increase of 52 percent from the third quarter revenue of 2009.
