'No difference in Omar, separatists' statements'

New Delhi, Oct 7: After the chaos in Jammu Kashmir assembly meeting on Oct 7, BJP leader claimed that Omar Abdullah's statement did not vary from any separatists' statement and also demanded his resignation from CM's post.

While speaking at the assembly meeting on Oct 6, Omar Abdullah's statement sparked row when it questioning Kashmir being the integral part of India.

BJP leader, Shahnawaz Hussain said, "Omar has no right to continue sitting on the chief minister's chair. There is no difference between his and the separatists' statements."

Omar's statement also added, "J&K had not merged with the Union but acceded to it under an agreement. The Kashmir issue cannot be resolved by addressing development alone."
