Nokia launches new mobile E5 in India
Mumbai, Oct 6: World's largest mobile manufacturer, Nokia has launched its latest E-series mobile, Nokia E5-00, in India on Wednesday, Oct 6.

The new Symbian-based Nokia E5-00 is an amazing phone which suits for both business men and personal entertainment use. It provides the essential features of an office phone with entertainment capabilities. It helps to manage busy schedules with a variety of productivity applications available in the Nokia Ovi Store.

Nokia E5-00 has a 2.4-inch transmissive LCD screen with 320x240 pixel resolution and a full QWERTY keypad. For capturing clarity pictures it boasts a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 3X digital zoom. It is based on latest version of the Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system powered with 600MHz ARM 11 based processor.

Nokia E5 has a internal memory of 256 MB which can be extended upto 32 GB using micro SD cards. The connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, integrated and assisted GPS, microUSB slot and 3.5mm audio jack. It also has a FM radio and audio player that supports different formats.

Social networking features on the phone are marvellous as it allows the users to download Facebook, Twitter and other applications from Ovi Store. The new homescreen features include one-touch access to favourite contacts, and social networks. It also pushes Facebook updates direct to contacts list which allows users to view friend"s updates.

Nokia E5 is preloaded with Nokia Messaging, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. Nokia claimed that the Nokia E5 will provide 18 hours and 30 minutes of GSM mode talktime off a single battery charge.

Nokia E5 is available in Indian market in two colours, Carbon Black and Chalk White, and is priced at Rs 12,699.
