As per CNN-IBN reports, the two accused were suspended and sent to police custody on Thursday, Sep 30.
Following the incident, agitators turned violent and pelted stones on the policemen demanding immediate suspension of the entire staff of Chechat police station on Thursday, Sep 30.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ordered the replacement of the entire police station staff. He also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family members of the deceased and assured a government job to one of the family members.
Constable Maya Yadav's body was found lying in a pool of blood by her colleague inside the police station premise on Wednesday, Sep 29.
