Trains collide in Indonesia, killed 33

Jakarta(Bernama), Oct 2: At least 33 people were killed and many others seriously injured when two trains collided in Indonesia, Central Java at the wee hours on Saturday, Oct 2.

After hours of evacuation, there was still one severely damaged carriage that could not be entered by rescuers, said Rindang Krisnoputro, said rescue oficial.

The three railway coaches derailed after the coalition. As of now the injured are rushed to nearby hospitals and many are in critical condition, with most of them suffering from broken bones and other serious injuries," he said.
