Samsung launches dual SIM office phone @ Rs 12,300

Samsung GT-B7722 Duos
Mumbai, Oct 1: Korean based electronics manufacturer Samsung has announced the launch of three dual SIM mobiles in India. The new entries are GT-B7722 Duos, the first 3G + 2G Dual-Standby touchscreen phone, and two Guru series affordable models, Guru Dual 25 and Guru Dual 26.

GT-B7722 Duos model is an advanced model with exciting features. It merges features available in two smartphones. The features describe it as an entry level office phone. This phone support two GSM + GSM SIMs with 3G and 2G dual-active standby.

GT-B7722 Duos has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash. The three page extended menu has a TouchWiz 2.0 User Interface. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and USB. Other features include FM radio, Document viewer and SNS.

It has an internal memory of 250 MB which can be extended upto 16 GB using micro SD cards. The new phone also support 9 regional languages. It will also support Active Sync, Microsoft Office files. GT-B7722 Duos is available in the market at Rs 12,300.

The other two mobiles are Guru Dual 25 and Guru Dual 26 which are aimed at the low cost mobile users. These two dual SIM mobiles will help Samsung to regain its share in the market which is at stake by the entry of Micromax, G'Five and Fly Mobiles. Guru Dual 26 is an affordable dual SIM phone with 2-inch display and digital FM player. It also has Flash light, 3.5 mm jack for audio and 1000mAH battery. It is priced at Rs. 2,240 and is available across the country.

The other model Guru Dual 25 has 1.8-inch display, FM radio and Flash light. It will support nine regional languages. The main draw back of this model is that only one SIM can be active at a time. Guru Dual 25 is priced at Rs 2,020 only.
