BJP submits no-confidence motion against Omar govt
“This government is a total failure and has been absent and invisible over the past four months. So we have given a no-confidence motion against it," Mr. Gupta, a former Union Minister said.
Failing to check separatism in the Valley, he said that Omar Abdullah should have resigned voluntarily.
Having received the notice, Speaker Mohammad Akbar said it will take another two to three days for the officials to decide.
To introduce the motion BJP needs the support of Peoples" Democratic Party (PDP) and National Panthers" Party (NPP) as the party has only 11 members out of 87-member in the House.
