New York, Sept 27 (ANI): The sexy banker, who sued Citigroup for firing her after she complained that male co-workers couldn't control themselves around her, has said that she does not want fame or to appear in Playboy but only to set an example.
Debrahlee Lorenzana, who revealed that she has been inundated with offers to do television shows, appear on a Web-based financial show, and to even pose for Playboy, said that she is not interested in finding fame.
"I don't want to be famous. I try to stay away from that," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
Lorenzana said that she has been swamped by attention ever since she sued Citigroup, but she did not accept any of the lucrative offers as she still wishes to continue on with her banking work.
"That's all I know how to do," she stated.
Lorenzana said she hasn't changed a thing about the form-fitting outfits or high heels that she says Citibank bosses told her to quit wearing at two branches in midtown Manhattan.
"All the negative things that people focused on had nothing to do with my case. It kind of distracted from what is really the bigger picture of women being harassed at work," she said.
"I just want to be an example, that's all.
"If people in the future still remember my name, I want to be remembered as a woman who stood up for her rights," she added. (ANI)
