CWG: Snake found in room, SA athletes scared

New Delhi, Sep 27: South African athletes were scared over security and not satisfied with the British certified Commonwealth Games' village.

CWG 2010 participants from South Africa on Sep 27 were confused whether they would shift to the village or not.

Harris Mbulelo Majeka, South African high commissioner stated, "English certificate wasn"t enough to be impressed with the Village."

He also pointed out, "There"s dampness all around, the basement is still filled with water," and his statement added, "We are yet to decide whether to shift to the Village at all."

The situation became the worst when a snake was found in one of the South African athlete's rooms.

Majeka claimed, "we found a snake in one of our rooms. We don"t know whether it was an Indian snake. It certainly is a threat to our athletes' lives."
