Ranchi, Sep. 22 (ANI): A man, who exposed rupees 2,000 crore money laundering scam in Jharkhand, costing the chief minister along with other ministers their position in the State Government, has demanded government support to enable him to survive.
Durga Oraon's Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Jharkhand High Court cost the Chief Minister Madhu Koda his office and many other State ministers their posts,
Faced with threat to his life, Oraon, a construction contractor, today has four security personnel for protection. But he says it has increased problems in his life, as he cannot carry on to earn his livelihood smoothly.
He says with lack of any means of transport, he is faced with a difficult situation to move around with security personnel.
"The difficulties have increased regarding food; earlier we were six to seven people but now there are four more people (security personnel) and two more will be coming. I don't have any facility to move around, so I need a vehicle from the government," said Oraon.
Oraon wishes to meet the new Chief Minister regarding his problems and wants the government to provide him with a job and proper house.
Following Oraon's petition, the High Court had ordered a probe, following which Madhu Koda and his aides, Harinaryan Rai, Kamlesh Singh and Enos Ekka, are in jail. By Girija Shankar Ojha (ANI)
