After shamed, MCD to clean up filthy games village

New Delhi, Sep 22: After the uproar over the cleanliness of flats at the games village, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has swung into action on Wednesday, Sep 22.

As per NDTV reports, they found around 125 MCD workers were brought in for the clean up and will be working in the flat for the next 10 days.

Piling on the embarrassment for the organizers Hooper on Tuesday, Sep 21 termed the Athletes Village as "filthy and uninhabitable".

Hooper's comments came after an advanced party from New Zealand, Canada, Scotland and Ireland raised serious concerns regarding the hygiene in the residential zone of the Games' Village.
