LG Optimus One mobile, sale to start in Oct 2010

London, Sep 17: The world's third-largest producer of mobile phones, LG Electronics, plans to start the sales of it's latest smartphone, Optimus One, by Oct 2010.

The LG Optimus One is based on Google's Android operating system 2.2, codenamed Froyo. It has a 3.2 inch capacitive touch display screen with 600MHz processor and a 3 megapixel camera.

Optimus One has an internal memory of 170 MB and the memory can be expanded upto 32 GB using a Micro SD memory card slot. The connectivity options include Bluetooth, microUSB and Wi-Fi.

It is expected to come with a navigation tool for Google Maps, supplemented with a dock and a charger and may support many other services by Google including Voice Search, Voice Actions, Goggles. The price and the market launch in India is not yet confirmed.
