Half chief justices are corrupt: Ex law minister

New Delhi, Sep 16: At least half of the chief justices of Indian were corrupt, claimed former Union law minister Shanti Bhushan on Thursday, Sep 16. He made this claim in an application filed before the Supreme Court

Bhusan had written an article in 'Tehelka' magazine about the corrupt judges in Supreme Court after which the apex court started a contempt proceeding against him.

He had even mentioned the names of the honest and corrupt judges. Bhushan was the law minister in the Morarji Desai government from 1977 to 1979.
