New York, Sep 15 (ANI): Fashion designer Stella McCartney's new kids clothing collection is all set to hit the market this fall.
The renowned designer's new line is unisex for kids up to 12 and focuses on stylish but practical kids' clothing featuring organic cotton infant garments, floral dresses for little girls, and even rubber rain boots.
"As a brand with many working parents in the team, I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kids' collection that was affordable .I feel like all the timeless children's wear is reserved for the expensive brands and that does not sit well with me, kids and parents, aunts, uncles, friends, should all be able to have access to Stella McCartney Kids clothes. We have tried to make that possible in this first collection, and hope it is enjoyed," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling to VogueUK.com.
Daughter of wildlife activist, Linda McCartney, Stella has refrained from any fur-trimmed coats or leather garments in the new line, as she's lifelong vegetarian who doesn't use fur or leather in her clothing designs.
Instead, look for modern designs featuring kids' first names. There's a Sam pea coat, an Ingrid dress, and an Aldo boys' quilted jacket.
Besides being available online on www.stellamccartneykids.com, the collection will be accessible in stores across UK, Paris, Los Angeles, Milan and Tokyo. (ANI)
