Islamabad, Sep 9: In a landmine explosion, at least 10 people were killed and six were injured in the Kurram tribal region in northwest Pakistan on Thursday, Sep 9.
About 20 people were travelling in a vehicle as they were returning home to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
As per reports, no militants have claimed responsibility for the attack. This particular region has been rocked by clashes between rival Shia and Sunni tribals.
Hundreds of people have died due to violence and militant attacks in Kurram Agency over the past three years.
