Google
Mountain View, Sep 7: After creating waves across the world with its spinning Buckyball doodle over the weekend, Google featured a small American flag on its home page on Monday, Sep 6 to mark the Labor Day 2010.

On hovering the cursor over the flag, users could see the words Labor Day 2010 are displayed.

America annually observes labour day as a tribute to all those men and women who work towards the prosperity of the country. The eight-hour day movement is a federal holiday and is observed on the first Monday of September.

Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the discovery of 'buckminsterfullerene' or the buckyball, the search engine giant featured interactive buckyball in place of the yellow second 'o' in Google on Saturday, Sep 4.

Buckyball is a spherical fullerene, which is a molecular compound made up entirely of carbon [C60].
