Blair cancels London book signing over mob attack fears
London, Sep 7 (ANI): Tony Blair has scrapped his book signing in London, owing to fears of egg and shoe pelting from protestors.
Britain's ex-PM was due at Waterstone's flagship 'London Piccadilly' store to autograph the copies of his autobiography 'A Journey'.
However, due to the fear of protestors, who are branding him a war criminal, the function has now been cancelled.
"I have decided not to do the signing as I don't want the public to be inconvenienced by the protesters," the Daily Star quoted Blair as saying.
Blair was earlier attacked by an angry mob of 200 activists who threw shoes and eggs in Dublin at him. (ANI)
