Mumbai, Sep 3: The agenda of alternate airport at Navi Mumbai is in confused state as some of the ministers refused the proposal of second airport in Mumbai.

As per CNN-IBN reports, Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan will be meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss the issue on Friday, sep 3.

Environment minister Jairam Ramesh and Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel have already had two rounds of meetings, one of which was during Parliament session.

Praful Patel insisted that the proposal to construct the airport at the Navi Mumbai site was the best. While Ramesh rejects his proposal as it may raise many environmental concerns.

Later both leaders have agreed to give a second look at the possibilities of the second airport in Mumbai.
