Pilot criticizes BlackBerry over security concern
Recently, Research In Motion (RIM), the BlackBerry mobile maker, assured the authority on Aug 30 to provide its services to Indian security agencies for monitoring its services in the country.
RIM's response came after the Union home ministry made it clear that Blackberry had to shut down operations in the country from Sep 2010, one if it failed to provide access to monitoring of its messenger services.
The Union Minister of state for communications, Pilot said, "Technology should not be a barrier for security."
