New York, Aug 27 (ANI): Levi Johnston, who previously apologized to Sarah Palin before re-uniting with her daughter Bristol, now wishes he'd never said sorry.
In an interview with CBS, he said: "I don't really regret anything," reports the New York Daily News.
"But the only thing I wish I wouldn't have done is put out that apology 'cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar.
"And I've never lied about anything. So that's probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with," he said.
Johnston publicly apologized to the Palins in June, shortly before he and Bristol announced their second try at being engaged.
However, Johnston's un-apology has just added to the rocky relationship he had with the Palin family.
Moreover, he is taking his rivalry with the former Alaska Gov. to her home turf as he has recently filed paperwork making him eligible to run for office in Wasilla.
Although, Johnston hasn't yet announced what office he plans to run for, Johnston believes he could challenge Palin's legacy as mayor.
"I can't guarantee or promise you anything but I'm gonna try. That's the goal," he added. (ANI)
