Alan Simpson's 'cow' quip infuriates Americans

London, Aug 26 (ANI): Former Senator and Co-Chairman of US President Barack Obama's Fiscal Commission Alan Simpson's comparison of social security to 'a milk cow with 310 million t-ts' has infuriated a lot of Americans in particular the feminists.

"Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Peter DeFazio, a Democrat, called the comments "beyond comprehension" and asked the President to remove Simpson from the bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform," reports Daily News.

In an e-mail earlier this week to Older Women's League executive director Ashley Carson, Simpson compared Social Security to 'a milk cow with 310 million [teats]'.

"If you have some better suggestions about how to stabilize Social Security instead of just babbling into the vapors, let me know. Call me when you get honest work," wrote Simpson.

Seventy-eight-year-old Simpson, however, quickly apologized for his not so bons mots with the National Organization for Women that said he was unfit to lead the reform effort.

In his apology, he said: "Over the last 40 years, I have had my size 15 feet in my mouth a time or two."

Earlier on Wednesday night, the White House said it was satisfied with Simpson's defense and that he will not be removed from the commission. (ANI)
