New Delhi, Aug 20: Commonwealth Games Federation chief, Michael Fennell gave thumbs up to CWG venues but also said that Government must investigate all corruption allegations.

"Corruption matters have been of a great concern to us. There is no room for corruption and corrupt people in Commonwealth," said Fennell after completing the two-day inspection tour on Thursday, Aug 19.

Discussing about venues, Fennell said, "There is still a lot of work especially finishing work has to be done. There are excellent stadiums but I am worried on finishing."

He also advised the CWG OC, "they pay attention to organizing the Games and not be distracted by other things."

Talking about the condition of the venues, Fennell claimed, "CWG Village will be the heart of the Games. CWG Village once done will be one of the finest that I have seen."

The Federation chief also added that they are satisfied with security arrangement during CWG.

He said, "arrangement of security is top class. The Federation has also employed private security consultants."

"We are particularly concerned about transport. We are concerned about traffic in Delhi," added Fennell.
