New Android smartphones, Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5, have Android centric features like the social hubs, support for almost all Google services and Layar Reality Browser, an augmented reality application that shows the user what is around him/her by displaying real time digital information.
Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 support the new Samsung feature, AllShare, which allow users to share Multimedia content between devices like the mobile, personal computers and TV. The phones can also function as TV QWERTY remote.
The Galaxy 3 has 3.2-inch WQVGA 16M TFT hi-resolution screen, FM radio, supports Wi-Fi connectivity and an internal memory of 130MB which is further expandable to 32GB using microSD cards. It will support DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, Real and WMV movie files. Users can buy the new smartphone with just Rs 12,300.
The Galaxy 5 has 2.8-inch QVGA TFT screen, 2 megapixel camera and supports Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth. It also features FM radio, 3.5 mm jack and an internal memory of 90 MB which can be upgradeable to 16GB. Users can buy Galaxy 5 at Rs 10,200.
