"I am quite delighted for the numbers posted for the first quarter. It's achieved because of strong performance in the power business," said LITL CFO, Suresh Kumar.
Lanco's EBITDA margin expanded from 18 percent to 38 percent in the corresponding quarter last fiscal in FY10.
"We have increased our capacity to 1,995 MW from 511 MW in less than a year and added 300MW," informed Kumar while speaking about the business outlook for the remaining quarter in FY11.
According the sources, Lanco Infratech is now trying to expand its reach not only in India but outside its boundary also.
The subsidiaries of Lanco Infratech had been engaged construction, Power, EPC, Infrastructure and Property Development.
