Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 16 (ANI): The Kerala Police will on Monday decide on the issue of arrest of People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Madani in connection with the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts.
It has been reported that two senior police officials from Bangalore will hold discussions with the police top brass in Kerala to decide on Madani's arrest.
Bangalore Joint Police Commissioner Alok Kumar and Deputy Commissioner Omkarayya have reached here, which has further fuelled speculation that Madani's arrest is on the cards.
Kerala Police have been treading cautiously to avoid a law and order problem.
The PDP leader had on Sunday said he was willing to surrender before the nearest court and that a date would be announced soon.
Earlier on August 11, Madani said he was ready to cooperate with the police if a non-bailable warrant was produced before him.
He had earlier spend nine years behind the bars in connection with the 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts in which 58 people were killed. (ANI)
