RIM promises access to encrypted data
On Friday, Aug 14 a senior official in RIM told that it will provide a technical solution for India's concern over the security issues.
Indian government, on Thursday, Aug 12, gave a 19 days deadline to RIM to fix the issues over security concerns. Government will review the situations and ban on BlackBerry messenger and e-mail service after Aug 31.
After meeting the RIM officials, government told that India will ask Google, Skype and other online service providers to allow the country's law enforcement agencies to access communications on their networks.
