London, Aug 14: English Premier League club Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger signed a three-year contract extension with the club. He will lead Arsenal through to June 2014.

On Saturday, Aug 14 Arsenal announced the deal that will extend Wenger's stay at the Premier League club to almost 18 years. Arsenal won three Premier League and four FA Cup titles under Wenger.

"Wenger has masterfully transformed this football club. The exciting and compelling football we play under his stewardship is admired the world over," said Peter Hill-Wood, Arsenal chairman.

"My heart belongs to Arsenal and my desire is to see this team win silverware. The commitment and drive are as strong and fresh as ever," said Arsene Wenger.
