Dell unveils tablet PC, Streak, 'iPad killer'
Streak, the latest tablet kid in the flourishing tablet PC market, features a 5-inch touch-screen, Google Android OS and 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
It has 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, built-in Wi-Fi capability and 3G connectivity. The microSD memory can be expandable up to 32GB.
It also features turn-by-turn navigation and street views come courtesy of Google Maps.
The Streak has the ability to web-surf, display multimedia and make voice calls, which will distinguish it from both current and future competitors. Dell is positioning the Streak as a mobile entertainment, navigation and social-connectivity device.
Tablet market was created by Apple Inc with the successful launch of the iPad in Apr 2010.
