London, Aug 10 (ANI): A British man has revealed that he still loves to go angling twice a week, even at the age of 105.

William Ware, of Walthamstow, East London, still manages to land dozens of fish in his five-hour sessions at a lake near his home.

"I recently caught one 18 inches long. I can't walk much but my arms are still in good nick so I can go fishing," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"It's better than staring at four walls all the time. I must be the oldest fisherman around," he stated.

David Webster, his carer's husband, drops him off at his fishing spot.

"He absolutely loves fishing and doesn't need much looking after," Webster added.

Ware was nine when his brother first took him fishing in 1914 - the year the First World War started, and his biggest catch was a 5ft shark off the Isle of Wight in the 1930s. (ANI)
